San Jose Cathedral at dusk

A quick taxi tour through Casco Viejo (Old Panama City) and a short stop at the square in front of the San Jose cathedral for a few photos. The sun was setting fast, making it almost silly to be taking pictures, but we did anyway.

Nearly 490 years old with an altar of pure gold and a fantastic history involving pirates and a move from the original settlement to its present location, this church holds many stories, for certain.
