Whale Fall

I've had a long fascination with the ocean, all it's colors, sounds, life - really everything about it.  Wales particularly.  I ran across this video on the lovely knitting blog http://coco-knits.blogspot.com/.  Awesome.

Doors

This past week I've been looking through lots of photos which led me to reflect a bit on all the doors I've been fortunate enough to open and walk through, both figuratively and literally, through the years.   

 I've always liked doors and windows and tend to take pictures of them when I travel.

 The interesting details in such utilitarian objects.

We often start a large puzzle on the last day of the year, an activity that normally takes us into the next day. After a busy year of comings and goings, it is wonderfully relaxing to be at home, thankful and grateful to be happy, healthy and together. Feliz 2012!
